Return Policy

At Bellows Film Lab, we are dedicated to providing quality products, reliable film processing, and excellent customer service. This Return Policy explains what items are eligible for return, how returns are processed, and what conditions apply.
This policy applies to purchases made through our websites, retail locations, and any Bellows-operated sales channels. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Use.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Cameras & Equipment
We accept returns on cameras, lenses, and camera equipment within 14 days of the delivery date or in-store purchase date.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in the same condition as received.
- Any included accessories, caps, straps, packaging, or documentation must be returned.
- Items showing signs of misuse, impact damage, water damage, or unauthorized repair attempts are not eligible.
A 15% restocking fee may apply for returns that are not due to an error on our part.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Film (all formats) – expired or fresh
- Film Processing Services (C-41, ECN-2, E-6, B&W, motion picture, etc.)
- Scanning Services (frontier, Noritsu, drum scans, Flextight, etc.)
- Darkroom chemicals, consumables, batteries, and cleaning supplies
- Gift cards or digital purchases
Because film and development services are time- and chemistry-based consumables, and processing begins immediately after your order is received, we cannot offer cancellations, returns, or refunds once film has entered our workflow.
3. Return Process for Eligible Items
To start a return for a camera or equipment item:
- Email us at contact@bellowsfilmlab.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Ship the item using a trackable service within 7 days of receiving your RA.
- Once received and inspected, refunds are typically issued within 3–5 business days.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, contact us within 72 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Order number
- Photos of the packaging and item
- Description of the issue
We will evaluate the situation and make it right.
5. Repairs, Warranty & Used Gear
Most used cameras sold by Bellows are vintage and do not carry a manufacturer warranty.
However:
- If the camera arrives non-functional, please notify us within 72 hours.
- Issues caused by accidental damage, moisture, drops, or misuse after delivery are not covered.
We can assist with repair recommendations or servicing options when possible.
